Barrel length is 6", caliber is .44 Russian. These revolvers were manufactured from 1881-1898. Features: six shot, double action, blue finish, case colored hammer trigger with black composite logo grips. This revolver has matching numbers on cylinder and barrel latch. There is a star stamped on butt which would indicate a return to the factory usually for refinishing or sometimes just for repair which is most likely the case for this revolver. Retains approximately 60%-70% original high polish factory polish blue. The cylinder retains a brilliant blue in flutes. Front grip straps retains traces of blue. Back grip strap is grey patina, grips are excellent, traces of color on hammer, strong rifled bore with usual black powder abrasion. Perfect action, strong barrel legends. Far above average and rather scarce in the blued finish.
