5" barrel in .38 Special caliber. This revolver was returned to the factory and re-barreled and refinished, June 1975 and is stamped inside. It has matching number on cylinder, and an original pair of proper silver medallion diamond checkered walnut pre-war grips that are number to another gun. Standard features include six shot, double action, half moon front sight, blued finish, with case color hammer and trigger. This is built on the large N frame to handle hot loads. Has a fine, near mint bore and perfect action. Cylinder has high edge wear and light drag line. Light muzzle wear and also light overall high edge wear. Grip straps have silvered out on back. Overall, 90% of the factory reapplied blued finish intact with nice colors on hammer and trigger.
