4-3/4" barrel in 7.65mm caliber. These pistols were manufactured by DWM for commercial sales in the United States. Production numbers vary from 7,500 to 8,500 total. DWM is engraved in scroll on front link. American crest above chamber. Features blued finish, checkered walnut grips, and matching numbers. Frame has the German export stamp. Grips are not numbered, early grip safety. Pistol has seen some holster wear on high edges, exhibits freckling and patina on grip straps. Barrel retains 95% blue. Frame has some minor freckling and approximately 80% blue. Fine bore. Later aluminum magazine.
