This is a Remington Model 12C pump action rifle with a 24" barrel in .22 rimfire caliber. Model 12C was introduced in 1909 and produced until 1936. The Model 12C featured the full octagon barrel, 2/3 magazine, takedown, tube fed, blue finish, pistol grip walnut stock sans checkering, rifle buttplate, and a serrated walnut forend. All metal surfaces are a mix of blue-grey-brown patina. Forend has a 2" hairline crack. There is a 2" crack at pistol grip. A coat of varnish has been added. There are two hairline cracks on the right side of grip. Working condition. Strong rifled bore.
