24" barrel in .32-20 WCF caliber. This special order Winchester was shipped on September 14th, 1886. Features a full octagon barrel, half (button) magazine, plain trigger, case hardened. The full octagon barrel retains approximately 75% original factory blue with sharp edges and barrel legends with original Winchester sporting front and rear sights. The nose cap, frame, lever hammer, and buttplate are case colored. Nose cap retains traces of case colors, balance has faded and freckled out. Frame retains approximately 70% case colors on top, bottom, and both sides. Some brilliant mixed with some patina and age freckling. The extra finish walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, never refinished, with the usual dings. Right side of buttstock at plate has a 3/4" barely noticeable stress crack. Action is perfect. Strong rifled bore.
