12 bore. Barrel length is 30". Manufactured between 1893 and 1894. Has Damascus steel barrels with solid matte rib with twin white bead sights. Rib terminating in doll's head extension. 2 - 3/4" chambers. Left barrel is "improved modified"choke and right barrel is "improved cylinder" choke. LOP is 14 - 1/2" between front trigger and end of buttplate. Drop at comb is 1 - 5/8" and drop at heel is 2 - 3/4". Side plated action, engraved with detailed borders with scrolls in corner. Also has a scene of two snipe in the center on the left side. The right side has a scene of a dog hunting. Both sides have cocking indicators and are stamped, "LEFEVER ARMS CO". Extractors, automatic safety, double triggers and trigger guard bow are engraved with a scene of a retriever with a grouse in its mouth surrounded by finely engraved borders. Circassian walnut stock with tear drops carved in relief behind side plates and checkered panels on each side of semi - pistol grip, black hard rubber butt plate. Checkered fore-end with spiral engraved push button release. Good condition. Barrels retain 60% - 70% of Damascus finish, faded near muzzles. Left barrel is dented, also visible in bore. Otherwise, bright bores. Action retains traces of finish but mostly with brown patina. Forend with 1/4" x 1/8" repair to wood on right side against barrel. Stocks were probably re-checkered at some point. Scattered marks from use.
