Heavy 31” octagonal barrel in .45 caliber rifled bore with patent breech, stamped “T.H. CLARK LAFAYETTE, IA. CAIN TWIST” on top flat near breech and “.450” on left flat. Adjustable rear sight is missing ramp and missing front sight. Blued flat back-action lock engraved “GODDARD” towards rear. Plain walnut half stock with brass butt plate, other furniture made of iron and wooden ramrod. Very good condition, as restocked. Barrel with two filled holes on top flat near breech, lock re-blued, barrel retains a spotted brown patina, ramrod about 4 inches longer than barrel.
