5" barrel in 9mm caliber. This is an early Chinese version of the Mauser Broomhandle Model C-96. Resembles any standard C-96 Model. Features the blued finish with the long range rear tangent sight with grooved walnut grips and lanyard ring. This pistol has matching serial number on slide and both magazines. These pistols have become highly desirable as it features the detachable magazine, which can be removed from gun, and can fire the readily available 9mm cartridge. Comes with the original short magazine which is flush at trigger guard, as well as the extended magazine. Has Chinese characters on right side of frame and logo on both sides of frame. Inside grip strap is stamped "BTC S. EL. MONTE". Pistol does not appear to have been fired since finished. This example is extremely well-finished and seldom seen this nice. 99% of the fine rust blue. Bore and action are fine. Comes with a beautifully carved wooden shoulder stock holster, two magazines, and a hard carrying case with cleaning rod and oiler. These high quality Chinese Broomhandle Mausers are no longer being imported into the United States and have seen a drastic increase in value in the past year.
