24" barrel in .32 HPS caliber. Special order features include 24" half octagon barrel (2" shorter than standard); full magazine, knife blade front sight, standard sporting rear sight, case colored frame and lever, walnut stocks, with S curve buttplate, and period sling swivels. Barrel and tube retains approximately 90% original high polish factory blue finish. Left side of frame has 30% case colors, some brilliant. Top of frame has 50% case colors. Left side of frame has 20% case colors. Base of frame and tang are grey, as is buttplate. Wood is excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks. 80% Nitre blue on loading gate. Frame screws retain the majority of their Nitre blue finish. Even the forend cap retains 50% of the Nitre blue finish. Tang is stamped "Marlin Model 93". Strong clean bore. Fine action. Sharp barrel legends. The only detraction is that the barrel and top of frame are drilled for a tube scope and have filler screws in their place. Lovely little pre-war special rifle.
