4-1/2" barrel in .41 LC caliber. Manufactured in 1894. This is a very early civilian model commercial Colt six shot, double action referred to as the Model 1892. It is chambered for the desirable .41 caliber. Revolver sports a near mint pair of black composite Colt grips that have the 1892 date in the circular panels with pony and arrows. These early models also features the Nitre blue trigger, top/back hammer, and screws. Still retains 90%+ of that finish. This gun remains in excellent all original condition and overall retains approximately 85-90% of the original high polish finish, with the exception of the grip straps that have turned a blue-grey patina, along with usual high edge frame wear, light muzzle wear, high edge cylinder wear, and light drag line. Perfect action. Near mint bore. Comes in a period flower-tooled Heiser holster.
