Cal. .36 percussion, barrel length 7-1/2". Features: Full octagon barrel with sharp legions, dove tail bead front sight, six shot, single action, non fluted percussion cylinder with all original nipples. Brass trigger guard and two piece walnut grips. Brass has not been cleaned with initials "MH" scratched in the bottom of the trigger guard. Initials "RM" scratched in right grip. Military cartouche on left grip panel. Numerous military inspector marks on barrel, frame and cylinder. All metal is a brown patina with some minor dents. Cylinder indexes perfectly, strong clean bore. Nice clean example of popular Civil War Navy revolver.
