Barrel length 4-3/4". This early Colt has the single line barrel address, two line address on black powder frame, six shot, single action, blue and case color finish with one piece walnut grips. Gun has been re-blued and cased over the original pitting. Early donut hole ejector head, grips are refinished. Three clicks but cylinder indexes properly, very good bore with black power abrasion. This revolver dates to 1874. Given the early serial range it would be a great candidate for a restoration. Matching numbers on frame, backstrap, trigger guard and cylinder. Barrel was shortened. Very scarce.
