23-3/4" barrel in .300 H&H caliber. Manufactured by Josef Winkler Kohler-Blitz of Austria and imported by Flaig's of Millvale, PA, circa 1960's. This over/under double rifle is chambered for the classic .300 H&H SIDE LOCK. Blade front and wind drift rear sight. Integral claw mounts fitted with a 4x Tellvier scope (Austria). The top of the rib is marked "Flaig's Millvale PA Ferloch Made in Austria". Barrels are finished blue, are numbered to the gun, have a small wedge of scroll engraving on each side of the breech end, have a sling swivel mounted on the underside of the bottom barrel and share the lower portion of the three piece walnut forearm with multi-point checkering and engraved coin finished hardware. The coin finished action and side plates are nicely engraved with scroll work and wooded game scenes on each side. The blued trigger guard is engraved with gold inlaid "Flaig Millvale". Underside of the frame is engraved with a wild boar. Features double triggers, cocking indicators and mounted with a nicely figured deluxe checkered walnut pistol grip stock with a cheek piece, plastic grip cap, Pachmayr waffle recoil pad and sling swivel. Gun remains in near new condition with just a hint of muzzle wear. A few minor storage marks. Near mint bores, perfect action. Locks up tight, obviously has seen very little use. High quality double rifle.
