Tapered 14-1/2” round barrel with chiseled rib on top in .66 caliber smoothbore. Barrel fastened by silver band on forend engraved with relief florals and large silver band around muzzle with relief patterns and floral scrolls, faux silver ramrod. Banana lock with finely-engraved patterns. Full stock with some repairs is profusely inlaid with silver wire in scroll patterns. Heavy silver side plate with relief military motifs including cannons, drums, and flags. Silver butt cap, trigger guard and wrist escutcheon engraved en suite. Very nice example of an Ottoman flintlock. Some areas with absent wire inlay and some losses to stock. Steel surfaces cleaned and bright, some scattered light pitting.
