Round 40-1/2” barrel in .65 caliber smoothbore with two turnings and flared muzzle. Muzzle with 5” panel decorated with a large flower surrounded by foliage in gold koftgari and decorated around muzzle with blooming floral panels, tapered koftgari panel on top flat connects to 7” panel chiseled and koftgari decorated with a large bird, a large flower, Cyrillic characters in a band, and foliage. Integral rear sight and priming pan with gilt decoration. Barrel secured by pins and two bands made from a wrapped steel wire. ‘Action’ enclosed with fluted wood housing; pierced trigger engraved and shaped in form of an alligator. Pierced and chased steel side plates decorated with birds, foliage borders, and terminating in a large stylized flower; retained by copper rivets. Full stock, the slender butt of pentagonal section with bone butt cap. Wood carved at butt with scales and having zig-zag borders on each panel. Very good condition with dark patina overall and some small areas of gilt worn away at breech. Stock with scattered marks from use, steel with dark brown patina.
