Round 2-1/2” barrel with lug for barrel-removal wrench and rocker panel engraved ring at intersection with action. Two English proof marks on bottom near breech. .43 caliber smoothbore. Scalloped boxlock action with side plates engraved with rocker panel borders, right side with “LONDON” engraved in an oval surrounded by military motifs and “Barber” in script on other side. Reinforced cock with engraved border, thumb safety engraved with acanthus leaf. Steel trigger guard with daisy engraved on the bow. Figured walnut grips with flat panels on each side. Good condition, dark grey patina overall, with scattered dark spots and some marks from use, side plate screw slightly marred and barrel cannot be removed. Grip very good with scattered marks from use.
