This two handled stoneware crock has a greyish color mottled as the base glaze with a floral motif on one side in a blue glaze. Above this floral motif, J. M. Prude Eliz-Town-NJ 3 is stamped in blue. On the other side a "3" is painted also in blue glaze. This crock is approximately 9-7/8 x 11-3/4 inches at its widest. It has a flat base with the interior of the crock painted in a brown glaze. The crock has slight inconsistencies in the clay and in the glaze. The top is worn of the glaze and all over the crock inside and out, there is glaze missing. There is a crack in the crock as well that goes beyond one of the handles. Along the base of the crock there are chips and nicks to the clay.
