This papier-mâché Milners head is of a dark haired and eyed woman. She dons red lipstick and a blue top with a white scalloped edge around the collar. On the back side of the bust, is a large hole. The bust is approximately 15 inches tall, while the hole in the back is approximately 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches. The paint on the bust is chipping, so much in some places that it reveals the papier-mâché underneath. The paint is discolored or rubbed off. Dated September 12, 1863. Boston, Massachusetts.
