This etching, entitled Wall Street, by Salvador Dali is 19 of 50. The scene depicts wall street with the building on the right hangs an American flag. Between the buildings there are figures going about their daily business. At the end of the street, it appears that the building could be a church, due to the tall steeple. Above the scene that takes place below, the Greek god Hermes fly’s nude, above, with his winged helmet, shoes and his caduceus. He appears to have flown right through the cloud that’s above him to the right. This etching’s main color theme is green and blue. The green was used for the figures below, buildings, Hermes, and the cloud. The blue was used to accent those features. The etching appears to be signed in pencil on the lower right with the edition on the lower left. Including the frame, the piece is approximately 27-1/4 x 37-1/4 inches. The etching itself, is approximately 17-3/4 x 27-3/4 inches. Overall the print is in good condition.
