Reuge Music. Reuge Musical Alarm Pocket Watch with Automata. Movement MB 1.17. 17 notes, 1 melody, 1 cylinder. 55mm case. Gold-plated Open face lever pocket watch with music and alarm. Automata consists of the follow. The man on the horse moves his arm up and down, the horse lowers its head to drink the water and the lady operates the pump. In a very nice bit of detail, the water itself can be seen flowing from the pump into the basin. Roman numerals. Sweep seconds, blued steel alarm hand, set in a pastoral enamel scene. Signed Charles Reuge "A SAINTE CROIX", the fountain. Circa 2010. Original inner and outer box included along with key. (Excellent)
