A desirable French Bebe with her original pink (some fading with age) silk outfit with various trimmings and matching hat. The bisque head has beautiful flawless coloring, amber paperweight eyes, original matching necklace and earrings and her original French styled blond mohair wig. It appears that quite possibly the clothing, underwear, shoes and socks have never been removed over the past 100+ years? The bisque head is attached to a straight wristed Jumeau body by means of the typical coil spring in head. Rear of head is marked “E 6 J” along with artist's red check marks. Included is the original owner’s name, evidently the doll had been passed down three generations in the same family. A great example with only very minimal wear to the body and some loss to the fabric outfit (mostly on rear of dress).
CORRECTION: There is a tiny white spot on the right cheek.
