This print, by H. R. Poore, is best known for being used as Winchester advertisement. There are four hunting hounds, inside of a barn with hay on the floor and the wooden pail to the far right of the print. This print is displayed in a wooden frame that is 31-½” x 40-7/8”. On the lower left, H. R. Poore’s signature is printed on the print. The verso of the frame is a wooden backing with yellowed newspaper visible.There are several scratches to the wooden frame, along with nicks visible. Nail holes, deficient of the actual nail itself, are visible on the frame. The edges of the wooden frame display wear and not all of the corners are flush against each other. The print has scratches, cracks and creases visible as well.
