This lot consists of two special themed Steiff editions, each featuring three mohair bears. The first is a Teddy Nimrod Camping set. This includes a 22 cm white, caramel, and blonde “Original Steiff Teddy Bear;” one is dressed as a fisherman and two are dressed as hunters. The bears are sitting in a cardboard box which is detailed to resemble a camping scene with a campfire, tent, and a wilderness background. This set was made in 1983; this edition is 567/10,000. The second is the “Three bears in a Tub” set. Each bear in this set is 23 cm. They include a light blonde baker, a brown butcher, and a yellow-blond candlestick maker. All bears are dressed to role and have tiny accessories. They all sit in a wooden tub with a Steiff mast and flag. This set was made in 1987; this edition is 1,452/2000. Both sets are complete with all IDs. The Nimrod set has a certificate; the Tub set did not come with one. Light surface dust to box of Nimrod set; heavy surface dust and fading on Tub set overall .
