This instant collection includes some of the most popular Steiff items manufactured in the second half of the 20th century. These include: a 15 cm fully jointed mohair Zotty bear without IDs; an 11 cm unjointed mohair Tapsy cat with her named chest tag; a 35 cm standing, unjointed roebuck with his chest tag; a 26 cm fully jointed mohair “Margaret Strong” Teddy bear signed by members of the Steiff family with his button and ear tag; a 28 cm fully jointed Mecki hedgehog doll with his button and yellow tag; a 28 cm fully jointed Micki hedgehog doll with her named chest tag; a 14 cm unjointed mohair Hoppy rabbit with her button and yellow ear tag; a 14 cm limb jointed grey mohair Snobby poodle with all IDs; a 10 cm begging, head jointed mohair Manni rabbit without IDs; a 14 cm unjointed, standing white wool plush Lamby lamb with her named chest tag; and a 25 cm sitting, unjointed black plush Bagherra Panther from “The Jungle Book,” with his button and ear tag. Also included in this lot is a 14 cm wind-up, head jointed flocked camel with his original “"monkey head label" by Wagner for Max Carl. Camel is in working condition and comes with a key. Condition: As noted. Good to excellent condition overall. Many with light to moderate playwear, but all with charming presentation. Provenance: A fine New England collection.
