This 2-inch-long gold metal and brown topaz brooch tests as 14K yellow gold. The yellow gold that surrounds the 6+ carat brown topaz, is done in the filigree technique. The brooch has the capability to also become a pendant. The stamps on the verso side of the brooch are illegible. The brown topaz is free of any major inclusion, however chips and nicks are present along the facet junctions. There are also polish lines visible. The post of the pin is slightly bent.
