Lovely wooden case decorated with hand painted fairies, doves and flowers with 3 figures sitting on top: boy with papier-mâché face and girl with bisque head sitting on a bench with his arm around her, which both nod their heads when the music is played and a man with papier-mâché face moving his head and arm hitting the boy with a rod. Is he indicating the boy should leave the girl alone? Music plays and action is in working order (boy’s pants are shredding, his stocking is torn, girl’s thumb is chipped). Beautiful music and whimsical theme!
