Beautiful French bisque socket head incised “A-19 Paris” by Jules Nicholas Steiner, with glowing bisque, long curved multistroked eyebrows, blue glass paperweight eyes with threading, molded upper eyelids and painted upper and lower lashes, closed mouth with pronounced philtrum and chin dimple, beautifully modeled pierced ears, gray cardboard pate and replaced curly blonde wig; early Steiner composition body (unmarked) with original finish (needs restringing, wear and cracking at joints, overall soil, dent on each leg, paint touch up on thighs). Gorgeous elaborate blue silk and lace dress with lovely dressmaker detail and spectacular hat (some deterioration to silk under the lace) appears to be original, complete underwear (some age spotting), original “Bebe Le Parisienne 19” shoes (much wear) and stockings. No damage noted to bisque. What a stunning doll!
