Early French bisque socket head incised only “5” (unknown maker but has a look between a long face Jumeau and a Schmidt), multistroked eyebrows, mauve eyeshadow, lovely blue paperweight eyes, black eyeliner and painted upper and lower lashes, closed mouth, pierced ears, long blonde human hair wig, no pate. Head has been extensively but professionally repaired behind each ear, but not affecting the painted facial features. Heavy French composition and wood body with straight wrists and original finish (several dents on torso, finish worn off lower arms, joint wear on knees); antique white cotton dress and undies, red velvet coat from antique fabric, red straw hat, no shoes or socks.
