German bisque socket head incised “ K [star] R 112” by Kammer & Reinhardt with beautifully painted features, tapered eyebrows, blue painted eyes with black eyelash line, open/closed mouth with painted teeth (professional repair at the left temple and back of the head does not affect facial features), replaced mohair wig; excellent jointed composition and wood body with original finish; clothing appears original with net over silk dress with matching hat, undies, shoes and socks. A desirable classic character doll!
