A classic example of a mid 19th century peddler doll hawking a plethora of various goods contained within her basket as well as about her on the ground. Of English origin, the elderly female figure appears to be of carved wood & being un-deliberately naively carved. Such an understated charm not only to this piece but the companion piece....a gentleman peddler. All contained within a glass dome(damage to dome)these were displayed in Vera`s living room as she had a certain fondness for both of these pieces especially since they were of English origin. Overall very original condition.

Item Dimensions: 15-1/2'' T.
