Bisque socket head incised only "4" with multistroked eyebrows, stationary blue eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, closed mouth with outlined lips and hint of tongue, pierced ears, remains of skin wig, bisque appears perfect but could not fully examine the top of the head without destroying the old skin; antique replacement wig over the skin (sparse bangs); good original early composition and wood jointed body with straight wrists and original finish; original red velvet dress and matching hat with fur trim. Adorable one, originally owned by Lady Lilford, lady-in-waiting to the late Queen Mary.
