This lot is of a French Balloon Clock manufactured by Bpacher & Sydenham. This clock is comprised of light wood with an even lighter wood used for the inlay design that follows the perimeter of the clock along with a circular design under the clocks’ face. On the white clock face, on the outer side of the three, six, nine and twelve, the respective minutes are displayed. The varnish that was used, appears to be staining some areas or coming off. The gold coloring on the feet of the clock appears to be tarnishing or coming off as well.
