Circa 1850. Solid yellow gold. The main part of the pin inlaid in mosaic; four corners inlaid with finely figured Moss Agate, diamond-shaped centerpiece inlaid with white gold quartz. Rectangular extension on each end inlaid with rose gold quartz. Entire piece in fine condition. pictured in book "California's Best" page 60.
