Circa 1860. Top of the lid is inlaid with California jade. Front is inlaid with a rectangular piece of grey gold quartz, heavily infused with gold. Slab 1-1/2" high. Case is engraved profusely overall with floral and geometric designs. Entire case is in fine condition.
