Clear glass sides having wooden edging with metal corners and brackets, mirrored back and black felt-lined bottom. There are two metal tags on the front of the case which read "Excelsior Showcase Works/ Jos. Knittel Prop". Four hinged back doors, two on either tower, and two sliding doors in between the two towers. The joints of this case have weakened over the years.
