This lot is of a Seth Thomas City Series "Cordova" clock. The rectangularly shaped clock has wreaths, laurels along with the capitals and pediments of the two columns done in brass as the main motifs present. The metal case that holds the glass that is used to protect the clock’s face also has embellishment. This Seth Thomas clock has a white face with black numbers. There are two key holes on this clock's face, making it a time and strike clock. Overall the clock is in good condition with marks from use and crazing in the wood. There are a few places that are deficient of varnish and wood. Please note that the door on the back of the clock does not stay flush when shut closed.
