Omega. Omega Pilot, Movement No. 8905767, Ref. 890, Circa 1935, 30mm case, stainless steel case, dial is yellow brown patina, slight oxidation to hands, polished step down bezel, automatic, pull out stainless crown, plastic crystal with two slight cracks at 3 o’clock and 10 o’clock unaffected visibility of dial, non-original new leather strap with non-original buckle. First water resistant watch issued by the military for pilots during WWII. This original design utilizes a snapback case back instead of the screw down case back. Case back marked “MOD. + DEPOSE” & “WATERPROOF”. Bottom of lug marked “890”. (Good)
