Circa 1840 to 1850. OL: 60 - 3/4". BL: 44 - 1/4". TB: Octagon to round. LM: Flintlock, but not original. Obvious re-conversion. PB: 2-piece. SR: Lengthened from rear ramrod pipe entry forward. This is a rifle with a New York style multiple-pierced patch box with a "cap-box" on the cheek side. The rifle was always in percussion and has been converted to a flintlock.
