Circa 1820 to 1830. OL: 61". BL: 46". TB: Octagonal. LM: Flintlock. Replaced. PB: 4-piece. SR: Lengthened. Two silver inlays. This signed P. Heckert is an example of a later "in-period" re-stock using the barrel, patchbox, and miscellaneous other original hardware. The stock and the barrel have been lengthened approximately ten inches and have been cleaned and stained/aged. The flintlock is a modern replacement. The patchbox is very well engraved and is an early 19th century style.
