Circa 1820 to 1830. OL: 64". BL: 48 - 1/4". TB: Octagonal. LM: Flintlock. Obvious re-conversion. PB: 4-piece. S: Curly Maple. SR: Lengthened and patched. This Kentucky rifle is an example of an "in-period" re-stock of a signed "A. Henry". The barrel has been lengthened 22 inches, the forestock has been replaced by approximately 29 inches, and the lock is a re-conversion. The "Henry" patchbox has a piercing in its graceful finial.
