Circa 1830 to 1840. OL: 56". BL: 41". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. Replaced. PB: 4-piece. S: Plain Maple. Incise carving. Four silver inlays. This unsigned Kentucky has a plain maple stock with an old finish, four piece patchbox with simplistic engraving, and it is probably made in the area east of Reading. The percussion lock is old but a replacement.
