Circa 1810 to 1815. OL: 61". BL: 45". TB: Octagonal. LM: Flintlock. Re-conversion. PB: 4-piece. S: Plain Maple. This Kentucky rifle is stamped "P. Gonter" and has a darkened, plain maple stock which appears to have no restoration, Dreppard lock is a re-conversion. The barrel and stock are full length and the barrel still has its original rifling and the patchbox is easily recognizable as Peter Gonter's Lancaster work.
