Swedish emigrant Karl Frederick Skoog (born 1878) studied sculpture under Bela Pratt and is best know for his monuments and memorials of prominent Bostonians. This doorstop was most likely a commissioned piece representing a customer’s beloved pet. Touch up to paint. Book Example.
