OL: 56 - 1/2". BL: 41 - 1/2". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. Original. PB: 4-piece. SR: One patched area. Incise carving. One silver inlay. This Kentucky rifle is signed "H. Leman Lancaster, Pa." and is in its original percussion state and has a full-walnut stock. The four-piece brass patchbox, the fore-arm, wear-plate, and the toe-plate all have decorative engraving. The barrel has been shortened 1 - 1/2 inches on the breech end and possibly one inch on the muzzle end. The walnut stock has a patch above the rear of the lock and the basket-weave carving at the wrist adds a nice touch.
