Circa 1820 to 1840. OL: 57 - 3/4". BL: 42". TB: Octagonal. LM: Flinlock. Re-conversion. PB: 4-piece. S: Curly Maple. Three brass inlays. This Kentucky rifle is signed "John Derr" and has an exceptionally fine curly maple stock which is all intact. His easily identifiable "flame" finial patchbox design is a classic hallmark of his work. The late flintlock is a re-conversion.
