Circa 1835 to 1845. OL: 56". BL: 41". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. Original. PB: 4-piece. S: Plain Maple. Two silver inlays. This rifle is signed "David Marker" and is a nice, plain example of his later work. It has an untouched surface with old finish, a very pleasing, engraved patchbox and is all original. There is a tiny half-inch compass inlaid behind the cheek piece which has a fine silver eagle inlay on it.
