Circa 1830 to 1845. OL: 45 - 1/2". BL: 30 - 1/2". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. Original. PB: 4-piece. S: Curly Maple. This Kentucky target rifle is signed "S.L.", probably Samuel Laudenslager, an Upper Susquehanna gunsmith. With a pleasing patchbox and nice curly maple stock, this original percussion gun has been shortened on the front end by approximately ten inches.
