Circa 1830 to 1850. OL: 53". BL: 38". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. Replaced. PB: 4-piece. S: Curly Maple. SR: Patched at lock area. Incise carving. One silver inlay and one brass inlay. This unsigned upper Susquehanna rifle may be the work of the Charles Baum or Samuel Loudenslager. It has the classic incisied carving on the cheek piece side found in that area. The stock has been refinished and there are patches fore and aft of the lock.
