Circa 1830 to 1840. OL: 54 - 3/4". BL: 39 - 1/4". TB: Octagon to round. LM: Flintlock. Obvious re-conversion. PB: 4-piece. This Kentucky rifle bearing no signature has a plain maple stock, an untouched, old surface with a pleasing patchbox, and delicate engravings. This piece is another example of a "in-period" restocking with the lock being converted to flint.
