Circa 1840 to 1850. OL: 61". BL: 45 - 1/2". TB: Octagonal. LM: Percussion. PB: None. S: Curly Maple. SR: Lengthened. This Kentucky rifle is a late example with an artificially grained curly maple stock which is restored from in front of the rear ramrod ferrule. The barrel is its original length and the rifle is still in its original percussion state.
